MOCK-UP PROOFS

No need to spend hours online designing your own house sign - Our professional sign designers do it for you! - Once you have placed an order with us, we make you a proof showing your text/numbers laid out on the sign as ordered. You can then ask for unlimited alterations until you are happy with the design. Once we get your OK we go ahead and make the actual sign - this way you can be sure you get exactly what you ordered. - Sorry, this service is not available for showing any hand painted pictorial on a sign.

Delivery Times

All our house signs are made to order. We aim to complete and send orders from our standard ranges within 2 to 3 weeks from receiving approval of the mock-up proof. Hand painted house signs take a little longer. - We use Royal Mail for all UK & Wordwide deliveries. Overseas parcels weighing over 2kg are sent by Courier.

Slate House Signs

Features of this range

Our engraved slate house signs have deep V-grooved numbers and lettering giving a smart classic appearance. This range of house number signs and house name plates are made from solid natural slate.

Available in many popular rectangular sizes to fit most fixing locations - gate posts, on a wall, on stakes by the road, by the front door, on the house wall and even hanging fro chains. If the standard sizes don't quite fit your required dimensions we can make them to your exact size - just contact us by phone or email us for the price.

These signs are diamond cut from a solid slab of dark grey slate and then engraved by a V shaped routing bit in a choice of over 20 different fonts. The lettering is inlaid with a choice of white, gold or silver paints giving a good contrast for easy reading . The outside edges are chamfered to give a neat border to the finished sign.

These slate signs have an average thickness of 11mm plus or minus 1mm. Most are offered with a choice of fixing hole positions. We provide correct size screws & rawlplugs and black domed screw covers to hide the screws and keep the from weathering.

V-cut Lettering is considered the ultimate in slate sign engraving techniques - it takes much longer than shallow laser engraving or deeper sanblasting methods but we think it's worth the extra time!
